Time goes so quickly, it seems like the first day of distance learning was yesterday. We've already reached the conclusion of this book for this school year, and we're thankful and glad. This year, I've learned a lot of great things that I'll be able to apply in my Senior High School journey and in my future.   We showed that we can surpass all of the difficulties and hurdles that this "new normal" has headed our way. The first quarter of the school year has been a hard journey; being new to modular learning presented challenges in adjusting to this new learning approach. I'm growing, making progress, and being able to change myself as I keep moving forward. I had no trouble seeking help because all of my family and friends are always there for me.   There have been several challenges that I am aware not only I, but some other students have faced also. Things don't always go as planned because we've been using a new learning system this school ...

Empower Juana, Empowered Juana   Firstly, gender equality is a human right. Women have the right to a dignified existence devoid of sorrow and terror. Women's empowerment is also an essential tool to support development and reduce poverty. Women who are empowered make a difference in health and poverty. Family and community productivity, as well as better prospects for the upcoming generation.   Our society consists of men and women. In earlier times men were considered to be prominent members of the family. They were responsible for earning a livelihood and were the decision maker of the family. On the other hand, women were responsible for doing housework and raising children. Therefore, the roles were mainly based on gender. There was no participation of women in decision making. It was originally the Feast of the Natives that started out on May 3, 1883, in line with the writings of Damaso King, a famous Vigan historian.     The Binatbatan festival originated from Vigan's abel weaving industry, which existed even before the Spanish colonized the Philippines.
