   The day of Valor, also known as Araw ng Kagitingan, commemorates the heroism of Filipino fighters during World War II. Every year around April 9th, the Philippines commemorates this day. In the Philippines, Araw ng Kagitingan is a non-working holiday and a long weekend. On this day, World War II veterans marched in various cities in the Philippines. Women's empowerment is also an essential tool to support development and reduce poverty. Women who are empowered make a difference in health and poverty. Family and community productivity, as well as better prospects for the upcoming generation.   Our society consists of men and women. In earlier times men were considered to be prominent members of the family. They were responsible for earning a livelihood and were the decision maker of the family.
